From 2007-10 he taught computer music at the Tokyo University of the Arts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>SHIOSAI (2015, 4-channel, 10min)<br>&#8220;The Thunder of the Surge&#8221; is based on the novel of the same name by Mishima Yukio.<br>In it, Oliver Grimm uses spectral analyses of a koto solo by Chieko Mori and applies the resulting scales to synthetic material and water noise.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>MUTSUMARU (2020\/21, 3-channel, 20min)<br>The sounds of a city &#8211; the traffic, its people, the construction and destruction of buildings &#8211; is contrasted with the rhythm of breathing.
